Dr. Val Ouellet is a research fellow at the University of Birmingham and The Institute for Global Innovation (UK). She is mainly interested in understanding what drives water temperature changes in different systems (naturals, urbans, etc.) and how this affect the aquatic communities (thermal stress, habitat, etc.). She has been part of the Ecohydraulics community since her first Symposium on Ecohydraulics in Québec in 2004.
